A very pleasant days biking giving you time to get accustomed to your bike and the terrain. After breakfast and about 6kms on road, we take off into the countryside heading west on a sweeping trail prepared for asphalt but not yet covered with the black stuff. Its then off road proper, predominantly hard packed soil interspersed with some short rocky sections, river crossings and small villages. There are some long sections of undulating trail, twisting through the hills with not a rock in sight.
After 100 km we turn south-eastwards after our picnic lunch, which is taken somewhere on the trail, and wind our way down through the Anti Atlas Mountains to the town of Agdz. A quick refueling and coffee stop then its 30 kms off road again through the palmaraie hugging the river Draa before we hit the asphalt.
Here we head due east for 22 km on road stopping at our nights’ accommodation in the village of N’Kob. Tonight we will be staying in a 200 year+ old converted Kasbah.
