Andorra Offroad Canòlich day

Our final day biking through this beautiful part of Europe. The Pyrenees with it’s national parks has many little known places to visit. Today we will bike out over the Port de Cabus pass we did on the first day and follow down through the old smugglers route through the gorge.

Stop at the Parador of Canòlich

After a coffee stop in one of the villages we will take a totally different route winding up through the trees on wonderful tracks and stopping for photos. Maybe find another small hillside village with a cafe to make a pit stop. After the 120kms ride we will eventually reach our last village in Spain – Civis and from here it is a short ride to our lunch stop at the Parador of Canòlich with it’s magnificent wide open views across the mountains of Andorra.

A substantial lunch awaits us.

Again a substantial lunch awaits us – hopefully the weather allows to sit out on their terrace. “Pà amb tomàquet” with local sausage, followed by fresh garden salad and their famous grilled chicken and homemade chips. Chased by a delicious creme brulee and coffee while relaxing and getting ready to bike back to our hotel.

Quick check over that no claimable damage has been done

No rush – the 20kms are on road but we will be descending on a narrow road with many sharp hairpins so don’t overuse your brake as you could be without by the time you get to the bottom!

Arriving back at the hotel, quick check over that no claimable damage has been done and then up to sit on the terrace over a cool beer and swop anecdotes from the past days.
After freshening up we’ll meet in the bar and take you for dinner in a restaurant in Ordino village.

Ask a question:

“My first experience of the Moto Aventures way of running bike tours. Absolutely fantastic! I loved everything about it, the bikes, the scenery, the accommodation, the company and the weather. All of it combined with Su and John's knowledge and expertise made this one of the best trips I had ever been on. My initial fears about my lack of off-road experience were very quickly discarded when we began our relaxed and expertly guided tour. A superb tour for those like me whom have had little off road experience. I left Andorra with a new found passion for off-road riding and such admiration for Su and John that I immediately booked my next adventure with them to South Africa.” – Gordon
