Client Comments & Testimonials
The tour was very pleasant. There were lots of things to discover about our capabilities, like the real distances, the surfaces, the BMW's . The system of the follow car together with the GPS made it possible for everybody to ride at his own speed which I think is very important to avoid accidents, and also makes it more enjoyable for everyone. Being an off-road rider and after being to Marocco with Su and John I was expecting maybe a rougher surface, on the other hand the speed, the landscape and the distances were new and very nice.

Things I particularly remember are the long straight roads in Namibia; the amazing repair by John to a holed oil sump with plastic metal; the road-sign “beware of the elephant”; the very quick changes of temperature (leaving at the hotel at a temperature of 13º and then driving an hour later in more than 30º); riding in the clouds; the Victoria Falls; the very special special scenerys and the nice hotels and guesthouses.

Besides that, being all motor enthusiasts together, the talks at dinner and during the night were nice and very interesting. `

I can imagine that someone might be worried about the food, eg. me. No problem! I can imagine that somebody might be worried about the distances. No problem. The BMW is a very comfortable bike. I can imagine that somebody might be worried about the accommodation. No need to be.

The only thing you have to worry about is that you want to do it again!

The Cape Town to Victoria Falls trip was an unbelievable experience, passing through the heart of Southern Africa on predominately dirt tracks.

The organisation couldn’t have been better; good bikes, stunning hotels and lodges, and the ability to ride at your own pace, alone or with others.

At the end of the trip there was a general consensus that most of the riders will be back for more, I certainly will be!

I was fortunate enough to be treated to a holiday of a life time. My wife Patsy booked us both on a Moto Aventures two week motorcycle tour of South Africa, Namibia and Zambia. It was a holiday that combined three major elements - Adventure, Culture and Nature.

From the start in Cape Town, where we watched whales coming in to breed, up through Namibia a very vibrant country and on to Zambia, which is absolutely teeming with wildlife our senses were in overload. However what really made this holiday special was the seamless organization by the Moto Aventures team. A smiling chauffeur met us at the airport, The BMW motorcycles were waiting with our names on and the back up vehicle was there to carry our luggage.

Every hotel had been carefully chosen, all very biker friendly with food and service to match. On most days Moto Aventures had also organized extra excursions including an unforgettable river trip with hippos snorting and diving all around the boat. My own particular highlight was an evening meal in a small intimate restaurant on the summit of a table top mountain overlooking a huge game reserve on all sides - the two hundred steps to the top were definitely worth the effort.

The two weeks ended at Victoria Falls where the very brave or foolhardy could bungee jump, race down the river in a ski boat or fly over the falls in a micro light.

As I said Adventure, Culture and Nature all woven together beautifully by Moto Aventures.
