4 COUNTRIES, 5,000km, IN 17 DAYS – STARTING IN SOUTH AFRICA, TRAVELLING THROUGH NAMIBIA, BOTSWANA AND ENDING AT VICTORIA FALLS IN ZIMBABWE!
THE SCENIC FLIGHT IS OPTIONAL. IF YOU PREFER IT IS POSSIBLE TO END YOUR TOUR IN MAUN AND NOT VISIT VICTORIA FALLS.
Join us on this epic, 5,000km, 17 day adventure from "Africa's Fairest Cape" to the "Smoke That Thunders" travelling through Namibia, Botswana and Zimbabwe - a journey through some of the world's most beautiful scenery, meeting some of the friendliest people and riding some of the best tracks. This year there is a change. The biking will end in Maun, Botswana and from there we have arranged the unique experience of an 80 minute scenic flight across the Okavango Delta and the dry desert inland of Chobe to the Zimbabwe border at Kasane where you will be driven 45 minutes through the Zambezi National Park to Victoria Falls.
You will ride top-of-the-line BMW GS1200 LC motorcycles and stay in amazing accommodation including a couple of nights in more local places so you get even more of an insight into the country and its culture.
Along the way we have arranged exciting activities such as safaris, game viewing, sundowner drives, Braais (BBQs) and cruises, not to mention the multitude of optional adrenalin activities awaiting you on arrival at the Victoria Falls.
We operate our adventures in the South African springtime (August - November) as in their summer (December - March) temperatures can reach into the 40º with high humidity making mossies a big issue in certain areas.
Treat yourself to the best!
This adventure is suitable for all types of riders, although it is essential that you have some off road experience and especially for those considering bringing a pillion. We recommend all riders who are unsure of their off road capability to take an ‘Off Road Training’ course at a suitable in country location and / or contact us directly for advice.
